The first CA state meet was held in 1973. Over time, it has grown to represent over 25,000 competitors from 850 + schools. Additionally, while most states have multi-division state events, California only has a single-division tournament making it the premier wrestling event in the nation.
Since 1973, FVHS has had 42 State Qualifiers and 8 State placings. The following wrestlers have earned the honor of participating in this prestige tournament as Baron wrestlers.
